Dail St. Claire is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) and a Special Advisor to Reverence Capital Partners. She is the first woman and the first person of color to lead ECF.
She has more than three decades of experience in asset and wealth management, finance, and philanthropy. She spent over 20 years as President and Chief Operating Officer of financial institutions, where she built investment management firms for institutional investors from the ground up. She launched and managed several SEC-registered investment advisers along with private equity, private credit, and liquidity funds. She seeded each strategy with institutional assets and grew total assets under management to more than $4 billion.
A two-time founder, she started a financial services firm, a private equity fund, and a mutual fund trust company. She arranged the 2017 debt financing for PKS, a $200 billion RIA/broker-dealer. Earlier, she was Senior Equity Analyst in the New York City Comptroller's Office, overseeing the pension fund's $25 billion global equity and liquidity portfolios. She also managed the first public pension emerging manager program, made up of diverse-owned managers, and co-designed a digital asset banking platform built on a sustainable development framework.
St. Claire served ECF and its Endowment for more than a decade as a board director and advisor, including as Finance Committee Chair, before being named CEO in December 2024. She is a board member of the Institute for Sustainable Communities and a member of the Economic Club of New York, The Common Good, and 100 Women in Finance. She is a certified running coach, a competitive marathoner, and has coached athletes through the Achilles Foundation.
She holds a BA from the University of California, San Diego, and an MA in Public Policy, with a concentration in Business, from the University of Chicago's Harris School.
